The life of Edouard Baldus - the Met

I stumbled upon this article accidentally through Facebook (that’s where social networks become handy). What intrigued me to start reading the story were the images. I am not much a fan of landscape photography but I found those images quite nice, and wanted to know more about the artist, who apparently is Edouard Baldus, a nineteenth-century French photographer of landscape and architecture.

The story, however, gave me more than just info about this not so well-known photographer. It appears that the curator of the exhibit, who mastered on the biography of this artist, by chance stumbled upon intriguing information about the life of Edouard Baldus. I think reading the article would be more expressive and captivating than my briefing about it: http://www.metmuseum.org/now-at-the-met/features/2010/10/26/the-secret-of-%C3%A9douard-baldus-revealed.aspx
